Caspase-3/7 activator 2 is an effective activator of Caspase-3/7. Caspase-3/7 activator 2 has tumor selectivity, anti-proliferative activity and high Apoptosis-inducing ability^[1].

Caspase-3/7 activator 2 (Compound 7j) inhibits Wi-38, Caco-2 and HepG-2 cells with IC₅₀ values of 16.764 µM, 0.069 µM, 0.087 µM, respectively^[1].
Caspase-3/7 activator 2 (0.06 μM; 72 h) significantly inhibits the expression of apoptosis inhibitor Bcl2 in Caco-2 cells (down-regulates Bcl2 by 0.127 folds). Caspase-3/7 activator 2 insignificant effects the morphology of Caco-2 and HepG-2 cells^[1].
Caspase-3/7 activator 2 (0.069 µM; 72 h) has the potential to induces apoptosis of Caco-2 cells (the total apoptotic cell populations is 52.650 %)^[1].
