Biologische Aktivität
Chktide serves as a standard synthetic substrate for Chk1 serine protein kinase assays and can be used for the quantitative detection of Chk1 catalytic activity[1].
Chktide contains the Ser53 phosphorylation site of Xenopus cyclin B2, and upon phosphorylation, it induces a prophase-like premature phenotype in fibroblasts[2].
