Exatecan mesylate is only two-fold resistant to PC-6/SN2-5 (SN-38 resistant cell line)[1].
Exatecan mesylate (10 μM, 30 min) has little difference in the accumulation of PC-6 and PC-6/SN2-5 cells[1].
Exatecan mesylate inhibits tumor growth, with the average GI50 values of 2.02, 2.92, 1.53 and 0.877 ng/mL for breast cancer, colon cancer, gastric cancer, and lung cancer cell lines[2].

Animal Model:BxPC-3-GFP and MIA-PaCa-2GFP orthotopic implantation mouse model[3]
