COA Handling Instructions

Falcarinol (Panaxynol) is a natural, orally active Hsp90 inhibitor targeting both the N-terminal and C-terminal of Hsp90 with limited toxicities. Falcarinol (Panaxynol) induces apoptosis. Falcarinol is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.

Description

Falcarinol (Panaxynol) is a natural, orally active Hsp90 inhibitor targeting both the N-terminal and C-terminal of Hsp90 with limited toxicities. Falcarinol (Panaxynol) induces apoptosis[1]. Falcarinol is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.

In Vitro

Panaxynol inhibits the sphere-forming ability of NSCLC CSCs by inducing apoptosis. Panaxynol suppresses the viability of NSCLC cells with no effects on normal cells[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
