Taurolithocholic acid-d4 is deuterium labeled Taurolithocholic acid. Taurolithocholic acid is an orally active bile acid and antiviral agent. Taurolithocholic acid upregulates FADS2 by activating the TGR5-PI3K/AKT-SREBP2 signaling axis, inhibits SFTSV-induced ferroptosis, viral replication and viral entry of HBV/HDV, while reducing the release of IL-1β, lipid ROS and LDH. While exerting antiviral protective effects, Taurolithocholic acid also stimulates the recycling of hepatocellular membrane transporters, impairs canalicular bile acid secretion function, and induces hepatocyte cholestasis, apoptosis and acute hepatocellular injury. Taurolithocholic acid serves as an experimental model compound for hepatocellular cholestasis. At concentrations ≤200 μM, Taurolithocholic acid shows no cytotoxicity and does not activate the interferon pathway. Taurolithocholic acid not only protects mice from lethal SFTSV infection but also is suitable for studies related to severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome and cholestasis .

TREM-1 inhibitory peptide GF9 (Human TREM-1 (213-221)) is a TREM-1 inhibitor. TREM-1 inhibitory peptide GF9 blocks the TREM-1 signaling pathway via a ligand-independent mechanism, spontaneously inserts into the cell membrane to dissociate TREM-1 from DAP-12, and functions through the Signaling Chain Homooligomerization (SCHOOL) model. TREM-1 inhibitory peptide GF9 reduces the levels of TNFα, IL-1β, IL-6, and M-CSF. TREM-1 inhibitory peptide GF9 inhibits tumor growth, prolongs the survival of mice with pancreatic cancer models, ameliorates collagen-induced arthritis, and exerts protective effects on bone and cartilage simultaneously. TREM-1 inhibitory peptide GF9 can be used in research related to arthritis, pancreatic cancer, retinopathy, alcoholic liver disease, and liver cancer .

Lolamicin is an orally effective inhibitor that specifically targets the Gram-negative bacteria lipoprotein transport system LolCDE complex. It selectively inhibits the transmembrane transport of outer membrane lipoproteins by competitively binding to lipoprotein binding sites. Lolamicin destroys the integrity of the bacterial outer membrane, leading to cell death, and has both bactericidal and antibacterial activity. It has significant effects on multidrug-resistant Enterobacteriaceae pathogens (such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae). Lolamicin can be used to inhibit the study of acute pneumonia, sepsis and other infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria .

N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine is an orally active endogenous mitochondrial stress response regulator that can permeate the cell membrane by passive diffusion. N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine induces low-level reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation by transiently perturbing mitochondrial membrane potential, triggering reverse signaling to activate FoxO and Keap1 pathways. As a result, N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine enhances the expression of antioxidant enzyme genes, exerting anti-stress and cytoprotective effects. N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine can improve heat stress tolerance, inhibit tumor growth, and regulate energy metabolism. N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine can be used in the research of aging, metabolic diseases (such as diabetes), and cancer .

Eicosatetraynoic acid acts as a suicide substrate to inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators such as leukotrienes and prostaglandins. Eicosatetraynoic acid acts directly on cell membranes and membrane proteins to exert a wide range of effects, including blocking potassium channels, increasing cell membrane fluidity, elevating intracellular calcium levels, inhibiting DNA synthesis in tumor cells, inducing differentiation of certain cells, and specifically inhibiting the assembly and replication of orthopoxviruses. Eicosatetraynoic acid alleviates acute lung injury induced by chemicals such as phosgene .

Di-4-ANEPPS is a voltage-sensitive dye that acts on voltage-gated ion channels (such as sodium channels) and inhibits sodium current, significantly reducing sodium current density, although specific values like IC50 remain unclear. It mainly binds to the voltage-sensitive regions on the cell membrane, changing its fluorescence properties to reflect membrane potential changes and thus affecting the function of ion channels to exert its activity. This substance can be used in cardiovascular research, such as the electrophysiology of cardiomyocytes, myocardial ischemia, and the effects of drugs on cardiomyocytes. It is of great value in evaluating drug cardiotoxicity and exploring the mechanisms of arrhythmias .
