Biological Activity
4-Hydroxy-2-methoxybenzamide (Compound 15) exhibits moderate antimalarial activity in an in vitro Plasmodium parasite system[1].
4-Hydroxy-2-methoxybenzamide (48 h) shows no activity against both chloroquine (HY-17589A)-sensitive *Plasmodium falciparum* (strain 3D7) and chloroquine-resistant *Plasmodium falciparum* (strain K1), with an IC50 >30 μg/mL[2].
