9(S)-HOTrE (9 μg/mL; 16 h) potently activates the transcriptional activity of PPARα in HEK293 cells, and its activity at the concentration of 9 μg/mL is 11.6 times higher than that of the control group[1].
9(S)-HOTrE (10 μg/mL) activates PPARα in HepG2 cells, and at the concentration of 10 μg/mL, it increases the expression level of CPT1α mRNA by 8.0-fold compared with the control group[1].
9(S)-HOTrE (0.01-10 μg/mL) regulates the expression level of apoA-I mRNA in HepG2 cells[1].
9(S)-HOTrE (0.01-0.1 μg/mL) upregulates KEAP1 mRNA expression in HepG2 cells at concentrations that stimulate apoA-I transcription (0.01 μg/mL and 0.05 μg/mL), while it downregulates KEAP1 mRNA expression at the concentration of 0.1 μg/mL[1].
