Streptomycin (32 mg/L; 37 ℃; 20 h). Antibiotic sensitivity of the MZ16 strain. In susceptibility tests with 10 antibiotics, MZ16 was found to be susceptible to all the antibiotics tested.

DPV of STP-MMCM/MGCE at different concentrations of Streptomycin (STR) (0.172–17.2 × 105 nM) and the linear relationship between operating current and different Streptomycin (STR) concentrations were investigated. The response peak current of STP/MMCM/MGCE showed a good linear relationship with STR concentration, and there were two linear ranges on the STP/MMCM/MGCE surface.

Selectivity assessment of the aptasensor was conducted. The DPV peak current changed in the presence of the same concentration of structural analogues of Streptomycin (S) (0.01 mg/mL), such as kanamycin (K), gentamicin (G), and tobramycin (T). The change of peak current was not particularly obvious when the concentration of the interfering substance (1 mg/mL) was 100 times higher than that of streptomycin (S).

    Aminoglycoside

    In Vitro

Strain RB1 shows enhanced susceptibility to streptomycin as the concentration of CV in the growth medium increases. As the CV concentration in the growth medium increases, both cytochrome aa3 levels and streptomycin susceptibility increase. Cytochrome aa3 is necessary for accumulation of streptomycin by B. subtilis[1]. Streptomycin influences tRNA selection. Streptomycin resistance mutations generally map to protein S12 and most of these variants exhibit increased levels of discrimination in the tRNA selection process[2].

    Help & FAQs
    • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
