Araloside C
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Araloside C is a natural saponin that is mainly isolated from Aralia elata. Araloside C exerts extensive anti-inflammatory properties. Araloside C exhibits protective effects against myocardial ischaemia/reperfusion injury.

Biological Activity
Araloside C also up-regulates the expression levels of Hsp90 and improved cell viability in hypoxia/reoxygenation-treated H9c2 cardiomyocytes, whereas the addition of 17-AAG, a pharmacologic inhibitor of Hsp90, attenuates Araloside C-induced cardioprotective effect[1].
Araloside C (0.5-2.5 μM) concentration-dependently improves the functional recovery of the I/R hearts, including increase in the recovery of LVDP, dP/dtmax and heart rate throughout the reperfusion period, although the baseline mechanical parameters with Araloside C were not significantly different compared with those of the control condition[1].
Araloside C could improve post-ischaemic cell shortening and Ca2+ transients from 2 to 8 μM[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
