β-Bisabolol (1.6-100.0 μg/mL; 24 h) is non-toxic to RAW 264.7 macrophages, 3t3 fibroblasts, and HS27 fibroblasts up to 50 μg/mL, with slight toxicity observed at 100.0 μg/mL^[1].
β-Bisabolol (1.6-50.0 μg/mL; 1 h pretreat) dose-dependently inhibits the production of NO, PGE2, and TNF-α in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages, as well as IL-6 (with EC₅₀ values of 4.3 μg/mL in 3T3, 8.8 μg/mL in HS27, respectively) and IL-8 in LPS-stimulated fibroblast cell lines^[1].
