Biological Activity
Flurithromycin (72 h) inhibits the growth of H. pylori strains with MIC50 and MIC90 values of 0.156 and 0.625 mg/L, respectively[1].
Flurithromycin displays antibacterial activity in clinical isolates of respiratory pathogens (MIC: 1.5-6 ng/mL for Streptococcus pneumonia, 12-400 ng/mL for Haemophilus influenza, 100 to 3100 ng/mL for Staphylococcus aureus)[3].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
