Hydroxymycotrienin B
Hydroxymycotrienin B is an ansamycin group antibiotic (triene-ansamycin) found in culture broths of Bacillus sp. BMJ958-62F4. Hydroxymycotrienin B inhibits HPV-positive cervical cancer cell growth 3~10 times more strongly than HPV-negative cervical cancer cells. Hydroxymycotrienin B can be used for the research of human cervical cancer.

Biological Activity
Hydroxymycotrienin B (3 days) inhibits the growth of HPV-positive human cervical cancer cell lines (SiHa, CaSki, HeLa) 3-10 times more potently than HPV-negative human cervical cancer cell lines (C33A, HT-3), with IC50 values ranging from 0.45 to 0.85 μg/mL for HPV-positive lines and 3.5 to 5.0 μg/mL for HPV-negative lines[1].
