NSC126188
NSC126188 is a RhoB inducer. NSC126188 can induce apoptosis by inhibiting Akt/FoxO3 signaling. NSC126188 can be used for the research of cancer, such as prostate cancer.

NSC126188 (1-10 μM, 1-12 h) inhibits proliferation (GI50 = 0.7 μM) and induces apoptosis in human prostate cancer PC-3 cells[1].
NSC126188 (5 μM, 1 h) significantly reduces the phosphorylation levels of Akt at S473 and T308 sites in PC-3 cells
NSC126188 (5 μM, 30 mins) completely blocks insulin-induced translocation of Akt to the plasma membrane in PC-3 cells transfected with GFP-Akt;
NSC126188 (5 μM, 3-9 h) induces dephosphorylation of FoxO3a and upregulates RhoB expressionin PC-3 cells[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
