Palladium(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Palladium(II) acetylacetonate is a metal-organic complex. Palladium(II) acetylacetonate upregulates the expression of GRP78, ATF-4, XBP-1, CHOP, and phosphorylated c-Jun. Palladium(II) acetylacetonate induces Apoptosis. Palladium(II) acetylacetonate has anticancer effects against non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, leukemia, and cervical cancer.

Palladium(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate (72 h) shows stronger cytotoxicity than Cisplatin (HY-17394) in H460, BGC-823, HL-60, and Hela cells (IC50 values in H460 cells: 4.56 μM (Palladium(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate) vs. 10.17 μM (Cisplatin))[2].
Palladium(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate (5-20 μM; 16 h) induces apoptosis in H460 cells in a dose-dependent manner[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model:Athymic BALB/cA nu/nu female mice (18-24g, 6-week-old) bearing H460 tumor xenografts[2]
-
Dosage:1 mg/kg, 2 mg/kg
-
Administration:Intraperitoneal injection, every 2 days, for 16 days
-
Result:Dose-dependently reduced the tumor volume and weight compared with the vehicle control group.
Displayed better antitumor activity than Cisplatin at 2 mg/kg.
Showed no significant difference in body weight change between the vehicle group and the Pd(acac)₂-treated groups.
