In Vitro

WF-3161 (48-72 h) inhibits growth of Trichophyton asteroides with an MIC of 3 μg/mL^[1].

In Vivo

WF-3161 (6.3-100 mg/kg/day; i.p.; once daily; days 1, 2, 3, and 4 post-tumor implantation) prolongs survival of P-388 leukemia-bearing BDF₁ mice in a dose-dependent manner, with the highest tested dose (100 mg/kg/day, i.p. ×4 days) producing a T/C ratio of 175%^[1].

Animal Model:

BDF₁ (7-week-old female; intraperitoneal implantation of 1×10⁶ P-388 lymphocytic leukemia cells)^[1]

Result:

Produced a median survival time (MST) of 17.5 days, a T/C ratio of 175%, and 10/10 survivors on day 5 at 100 mg/kg/day.
Produced an MST of 10.0 days, a T/C ratio of 100%, and 10/10 survivors on day 5 at 6.3 mg/kg/day.
Caused reduction in body weight at 100 mg/kg/day.
