In Vitro
Ceftolozane (0.5-50 μg/mL; 1-7 days) sulfate is stable in human K2EDTA plasma for at least 7 days at 6 °C and −20 °C, shows acceptable stability (≤15% decay) for 71.2 h at 23 °C and 5.6 h at 40 °C, with comparable stability at 0.5 μg/mL and 50 μg/mL concentrations[2].
Ceftolozane (50 μg/mL; 1-7 days) sulfate is stable in human K2EDTA full blood for at least 7 days at 6 °C, and shows acceptable stability (≤15% decay) for 121.8 h at 23 °C, with stability comparable to plasma samples[2].

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 90% (20% SBE-β-CD in Saline)
Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (3.27 mM); Clear solution
This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown).
Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 900 μL 20% SBE-β-CD in Saline, and mix evenly.
Preparation of 20% SBE-β-CD in Saline (4°C, storage for one week): 2 g SBE-β-CD powder is dissolved in 10 mL Saline, completely dissolve until clear.
