Biologische Aktivität
Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitor
Siccanin (10 μg/mL) is species-selective, and Siccanin inhibits bacterial SDH from P. aeruginosa and P. putida but not SDH from E. coli, and C. glutamicum; Siccanin inhibits rodent SDH but not porcine SDH[1].
Specifically, Siccanin inhibits SDH from P. aeruginosa (residual activity 13%) and P. putida (>1%) membranes, and of mouse (>7%) and rat (19%) liver mitochondria, but not SDH from E. coli (77%) and C. glutamicum (97%) membranes and of porcine heart mitochondria (106%)[1].
Siccanin (3 μg/mL) competely inhibits the growth of Trichophyton mentagrophytes (IC50=0.3 μg/mL)[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
