JG-258
JG-258 is an inactive negative control for Hsp70 inhibitors. JG-258 is an inactive structural analog of JG-98 (HY-117282), an allosteric inhibitor of heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) with demonstrated anticancer activity. JG-258 can be used in cancer-related research.

JG-258 (serially increasing doses; 72 h) weakly suppresses the viability of two-dimensional cultured TT and MZ-CRC-1 human medullary thyroid carcinoma cells, with IC50 values of 14.57 μM and 24.13 μM, respectively[1].
JG-258 has no effect on Hsp70:CHIP-dependent ubiquitination of purified FLAG-tagged apo-nNOS[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
