Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside is a flavonoid compound. Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside can be extracted from T. chinense Turcz. Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside inhibits the phosphorylation of NF-κB and MAPK kinases. Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside suppresses the expression of cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β and PGE2) and reduces ROS levels. Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside ameliorates pulmonary edema and alleviates oxidative stress in the lungs and cells of mice exposed to Klebsiella pneumoniae. Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside possesses anti-inflammatory properties. Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside can be used in studies related to Klebsiella pneumoniae infection (pneumonia).

Biological Activity
Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside (1-4 μg/mL; 10 h) does not inhibit the growth of *Klebsiella pneumoniae* (CICC-10870), which is evidenced by the results that its MIC >256 μg/mL and there is no significant difference in growth curves compared with the control group[1].
Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside (1-4 μg/mL; 1 h) protects mouse RAW 264.7 macrophages from Klebsiella pneumoniae-induced cell death in a concentration-dependent manner, and exhibits no intrinsic cytotoxicity at concentrations of 1, 2, and 4 μg/mL[1].
Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside (1-4 μg/mL; 1 h) dose-dependently reduces Klebsiella pneumoniae-induced reactive oxygen species production in mouse RAW 264.7 macrophages at concentrations of 1, 2, and 4 μg/mL[1].
Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside (1-4 μg/mL; administered during *Klebsiella pneumoniae* incubation) dose-dependently inhibits the phosphorylation of p38, ERK, JNK, IκB and NF-κB p65 in mouse RAW 264.7 macrophages exposed to *Klebsiella pneumoniae*, thereby suppressing the activation of MAPK and NF-κB pathways[1].
Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside downregulates the expression of pro-inflammatory mediators in LPS-induced RAW264.7 macrophages by inhibiting the MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
-
Cell Line:murine RAW 264.7 macrophages
-
Concentration:1-4 μg/mL (viability assay; infection protection assay)
-
Incubation Time:1 h (viability assay); 1 h pre-incubation before 24 h Klebsiella pneumoniae infection (protection assay)
-
Result:Had no significant effect on RAW 264.7 cell viability at tested concentrations.
Protected cells from Klebsiella pneumoniae-induced viability reduction in a concentration-dependent manner, with higher concentrations correlating with greater cell survival.
-
Cell Line:murine RAW 264.7 macrophages
-
Concentration:1-4 μg/mL
-
Incubation Time:during Klebsiella pneumoniae incubation
-
Result:Dose-dependently suppressed the phosphorylation of p38, ERK, JNK, IκB, and NF-κB p65 induced by Klebsiella pneumoniae infection, with significant reductions observed at 2 and 4 μg/mL for most targets.
Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside (200 μg/kg; i.p.; single injection) does not induce inflammatory or oxidative stress changes in healthy BALB/c mice[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
