MEDI-5083 

MEDI-5083 is an Fc fusion protein that targets CD40 and is a CD40 agonist. MEDI-5083 stimulates CD40 signaling via NF-κB activation. MEDI-5083 upregulates MHCII, CD80, and CD86 expression, induces pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion, and enhances IFN-γ secretion by memory CD8⁺ T cells. MEDI-5083 can be used for the research of melanoma, colon carcinoma, and advanced solid tumors^[1][2].

MEDI-5083 specifically binds human CD40, triggers its internalization, and robustly stimulates NF-κB-mediated CD40 signaling in human Ramos and THP-1 cells^[1].
MEDI-5083 potently upregulates MHCII, CD80, and CD86 expression and induces pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion in primary human B cells and myeloid cells^[1].
MEDI-5083 enhances IFN-γ secretion by human memory CD8⁺ T cells in an antigen-recall assay^[1].
MEDI-5083 activates the CD40 pathway in human antigen-presenting cells and human monocyte-derived dendritic cells, upregulating co-stimulation molecules and inducing pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion^[2].
