NDM-1-IN-13 (Compound 16a) inhibits NDM-1 with an IC₅₀ value of 3.27 μM^[1].
Combination of NDM-1-IN-13 with Meropenem (HY-13678) synergistically reduces the MIC of Meropenem (by 8- to 16-fold) against NDM-1-positive isolates^[1].

Combination treatment with NDM-1-IN-13 (32 mg/kg; i.p.) and Meropenem significantly improves the survival rate of mice infected with Escherichia coli EC53, and restores the antibacterial effect of Meropenem against NDM-1-positive Escherichia coli EC53^[1].
