Description

AK442 is a selective PRMT4 (CARM1) inhibitor with an IC50 of 2.6 nM against human targets. AK442 is applicable to breast cancer-related research[1].

IC50 & Target[1]

PRMT4

In Vitro

AK442 (10 μM; 6.5 h) binds to PRMT4 in MDA-MB-231 cells and increases the thermal stability of PRMT4 by 2 °C compared with the DMSO control group[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
