Anti-inflammatory agent 115 (compound 3R) (10 μM; 1 h pre-incubation, 3 h LPS stimulation) potently reduces LPS-induced secretion of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 in RAW 264.7 macrophages[1].
Anti-inflammatory agent 115 binds to the catalytic domains of COX-1 and COX-2[1].

Animal Model: CD-1 mice (male, 25-30 g) topically administered with ethanolic TPA (0.25 mg/mL) to the right ear to induce edema [1]

Result: Achieved 91% edema reduction at 1 μmol/ear.
Reached a median inhibition dose (ID50) of 0.56 μmol/ear.
Inhibited myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity by 98% at 1 μmol/ear.

Returned MPO activity to basal levels at 0.31 μmol/ear and 1 μmol/ear.
