Biological Activity
Antitumor agent-86 (0-200 μM; 48 h) dose-dependently suppresses MCF-7, MDA-MB-231, Caco-2, and PANC-1 cancer cell proliferation with IC50 values of 2.617, 6.778, 14.8 and 23.58 µM, respectively[1]. Antitumor agent-86 (2.62 μM; 48 h) induces cell apoptosis, cell cycle arrest and decreases the levels of p-RAS proteins, mRNA transcript level of PI3K and Akt and p-JNK protein expression of MCF-7 cells[1]. Antitumor agent-86 (2.62 μM; 48 h) up-regulates p21 gene expression level[1].
