MAO-B-IN-56 (Compound 3k) (0.028 mmol/kg; single administration) exhibits potent anti-inflammatory activity, reducing carrageenan-induced rat paw edema by 88.88% at 2 h post-induction[1].
MAO-B-IN-56 (0.026 mmol/kg, administered daily) effectively ameliorates streptozotocin (STZ) (HY-13753)-induced Alzheimer's disease pathology in mice, enhances spatial memory, maintains hippocampal structural integrity, and normalizes key Alzheimer's disease (AD)-related biochemical parameters, but fails to restore recognition memory indicators in the novel object recognition (NOR) test[1].
