BP1002

BP1002 is an antisense oligonucleotide targeting BCL-2. BP1002 silences BCL-2 expression by targeting the translation initiation site of Bcl-2 mRNA. Its backbone carries ethoxy modifications, which confer nuclease resistance, reduce off-target effects, and lower toxicity. BP1002 prolongs survival in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma xenograft models. BP1002 can be used in studies of acute myeloid leukemia, aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and Venetoclax (HY-15531)-resistant hematological malignancies.

BP1002 combined with Decitabine (HY-A0004) reduces proliferation of Venetoclax (HY-15531)-resistant leukemic cells by approximately 60%^[1].
BP1002 (200 micrograms/mL; 4 days) exhibits cytotoxic activity against multiple human lymphoma cell line subtypes, with ≥50% inhibition observed in the majority of tested GCB DLBCL, all tested ABC DLBCL, the tested MCL, and the tested BL cell lines^[2].

Anti-cancer

BP1002 (BP1002-encapsulated liposomes; 10-20 mg BP1002/kg; i.v.; twice weekly; administration initiated 1 week after implantation) prolongs the survival of mice with aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In one experiment, the proportion of moribund mice in the 10 mg/kg and 20 mg/kg dose groups is 0% at week 5, while in a second experiment, the survival rate of the 20 mg/kg dose group is 60%^[2].
