(-)-Isoproterenol (Levisoprenalinel) hydrochloride is the R-isomer of Isoproterenol. (-)-Isoproterenol hydrochloride can reduce the cleavage of caspase 3 and TNFα levels in retinal endothelial cells (REC). (-)-Isoproterenol hydrochloride can be used for the study of diabetic retinopathy[1].
