Procaspase-3 activator 1
Procaspase-3 activator 1 is a potent procaspase-3 activator. Procaspase-3 activator directly activates procaspase-3 through zinc chelation, thereby inducing apoptosis and inhibiting cancer cell proliferation. Procaspase-3 activator 1 can be used for the research of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and melanoma.

Biological Activity

Procaspase-3 |
Procaspase-3 activator 1 (compound K-15) (24 h) demonstrates potent antiproliferative activity against A549 and A375 cells with IC50s of 3.96 and 21.18 µM, while maintaining negligible cytotoxicity against BEAS-2B cells at 10 μM, indicating its selectivity[1].
Procaspase-3 activator 1 (50 μM, 0-180 min) can directly activate procaspase-3 into caspase-3, exhibiting superior activation activity compared to the positive control PAC-1 (HY-13523)[1].
