Description

Choline Fenofibrate (ABT-335), a choline salt of Fenofibric acid (HY-B0760), releases free Fenofibric acid in the gastrointestinal tract. Fenofibric acid is a PPAR activator with antihyperlipidemic effect[1].

Choline Fenofibrate exhibits excellent absolute oral bioavailability (rat 93.4%) and Cmax (rat 7944.2 ng/mL) following oral administration (rat 4mg/kg)[1].
Choline Fenofibrate exhibits terminal elimination half-life (rat 5.4 h) following intravenous injection (rat 4mg/kg)[1].
