Mycosporine glycine inhibits the UV-induced upregulation of COX-2 mRNA and gene expression levels, scavenges free radicals, ROS and peroxyl radicals, and inhibits free radical chain lipid peroxidation and phosphatidylcholine peroxidation. Mycosporine glycine restores PCOLCE and elastin levels suppressed by ultraviolet radiation, alleviates photooxidative stress and UV-mediated skin cell damage. BIIL-260 is a potent and long-acting orally active leukotriene B(4) receptor LTB₄ antagonist, with anti-inflammatory activity. BIIL-260 interacts with the LTB₄ receptor in a saturable, reversible, and competitive manner, has high affinity to the LTB₄ receptor on isolated human neutrophil cell membranes with the K_i value of 1.7 nM.

Revamilast (GRC 4039) is an orally active phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 3 nM. Revamilast inhibits the production of TNF-α. It can be used for research on rheumatoid arthritis, plaque psoriasis, asthma, and other inflammatory diseases.

IL-17-IN-1 (26) is an orally active IL-17 inhibitor, with IC₅₀ values of 0.013 μM and 0.004 μM for IL-17A and IL-6 release, respectively. IL-17-IN-1 (26) effectively reduces knee swelling in a rat arthritis model.
