Linezolid (PNU-100766) is the first member of the class of oxazolidinone synthetic antibiotic. Linezolid acts by inhibiting the initiation of bacterial protein synthesis. Linezolid is used for the treatment of serious infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria that are resistant to several other antibiotics.

Then the expressions of TLR2, MAPKs (JNK, ERK, p38, p-JNK, p-ERK1/2, and p-p38), NLRP3 inflammasome proteins (NLRP3, ASC, Caspase-1, IL-1β, IL-18) and MIP-2 were detected by each pathway inhibitor treatment was used to further explore the upstream and downstream relationships among TLR2, MAPKs and NLRP3-related inflammatory pathways in MH-S cells.
