In Vitro

In lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophage cells, Lambertellin exhibits promising inhibitory activity against nitric oxide (NO) production with an IC₅₀ value of 3.19 µM, and it significantly inhibits the expression of inducible NO synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2). Lambertellin also decreases the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6 and IL-1β^[1].
