FBPase
fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase
FBPase, which catalyses the hydrolysis of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to fructose 6-phosphate and inorganic phosphate, is a rate-limiting enzyme responsible for gluconeogenesis and glyconeogenesis and, more generally, for the control of energy metabolism and glucose homeostasis. In mammals, two separate genes, FBP1 and FBP2, encode the liver and muscle isoforms of FBPase, respectively.
Lower FBPase expression frequently correlated significantly with an advanced tumour stage, a highly malignant phenotype, and worse prognoses in cancer patients. All these data implied that FBPase might be a novel biomarker and potential target for the treatment of cancer.

D-Fructose-6-phosphate disodium
0 ImagesD-Fructose 6-phosphate disodium is an endogenous metabolite. D-Fructose 6-phosphate disodium can be obtained by hydrolysis of Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase (FBPase). D-Fructose-6-phosphate disodium is a sugar intermediate in the glycolysis pathway and the pentose phosphate pathway. D-Fructose-6-phosphate disodium can be used to detect glucosamine-6-phosphate synthase and TAL activities. D-Fructose 6-phosphate disodium can be used to study Lewy body dementia. -

MB05032
0 ImagesMB05032 is a fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase (FBP1/FBPase) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 16 nM. MB05032 blocks FBP1-mediated glycolysis inhibition in NK cells, restores NK cell glucose uptake, lactate production, degranulation, perforin production, and cytotoxicity against gastric cancer cells. MB05032 elevates ATP/ADP ratios, increases glucose utilization, and enhances insulin secretion in pancreatic β-cells. MB05032 increases neutrophil adhesion, phagocytosis, and mRNA abundance of HKII, ITGA9, CD36 in subclinically hypocalcemic dairy cows. MB05032 inhibits gluconeogenesis in hepatocytes, acts as the active metabolite of prodrug Managlinat dialanetil (MB06322) (HY-14955). MB05032 can be used for the research of gastric cancer, type 2 diabetes, subclinical hypocalcemia, and insulin resistance. -

FBPase-IN-1
0 ImagesFBPase-IN-1 is a potent FBPase (Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase) inhibitor for Type 2 diabetes (T2D) study with an IC50 of 0.22 μM. FBPase-IN-1 can reduce blood glucose levels and ameliorate glucose tolerance. FBPase-IN-1 modifies the C128 site, regulates the N125-S124-S123 allosteric pathway of FBPase and affects the catalytic activity of FBPase. -

FBPase-IN-7
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-182346FBPase-IN-7 is a fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase (FBPase) inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.75 μM. FBPase-IN-7 binds to a cryptic allosteric pocket of FBPase, induces conformational rearrangement of key residues, forms a hydrogen-bond network, and disrupts substrate catalysis. FBPase-IN-7 confirms cellular stabilizes HuFBPase in hepatic cells. FBPase-IN-7 has hypoglycemic activity. FBPase-IN-7 can be used for the research of type 2 diabetes. -
