Oxonantenine

Oxonantenine is an isoquinoline alkaloid isolated from the seeds of Nandina domestica that exhibits cytotoxicity against cancer cells. Oxonantenine binds to proteins associated with the MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways, including JUN, MAPK1, p38, MAPK3, ERK, JNK3, and p65. Oxonantenine is one of the main components of Fangji Huangqi Tang. Oxonantenine can be used in studies related to non-small cell lung cancer and rheumatoid arthritis.
