CF-Eugenol
CF-Eugenol (Eugenol-clofibrate) is an orally effective PPAR-α activator. CF-Eugenol drives the expression of lipid-lowering genes and reduces serum triglyceride and total cholesterol in a dose-dependent manner. CF-Eugenol upregulates hepatic Nrf2 expression and activates the Nrf2/HO-1 axis to coordinate the expression of antioxidant and detoxifying enzymes. CF-Eugenol enhances antioxidant defense by increasing SOD activity and GSH content and reducing MDA accumulation. CF-Eugenol downregulates hepatic TNF-α and IL-6 to exert anti-inflammatory effects. CF-Eugenol reduces serum ALT, AST, and AKP and improves liver histopathology. CF-Eugenol can be used for research on hyperlipidemia.

-
Animal Model:KM mice, body weight 20 g[1]
-
Dosage:0.1335 mmol/kg; 0.267 mmol/kg; 0.534 mmol/kg
-
Administration:intragastric administration; daily dosing; 7 consecutive days
-
Result:Reduced lipid levels in a dose-dependent manner.
Was more effective than CF in lowering TG levels.
-
Animal Model:KM mice, body weight 20 g[1]
-
Dosage:1.65 mmol/kg
-
Administration:intragastric administration; once daily for 30 consecutive days
-
Result:In the CF-Eugenol group, liver weight and the liver-to-body-weight ratio were significantly lower than those in the CF group.
AST, ALT, and AKP levels decreased by 31.56%, 31.56%, and 49.35%, respectively, indicating a significant reduction in liver injury.
Oxidative stress was notably alleviated, as evidenced by increased SOD activity, elevated GSH content, and reduced MDA levels.
