Cyclocarioside H
Cyclocarioside H is an AMPK agonist. Cyclocarioside H suppresses inflammatory insult-induced IKKβ phosphorylation, alleviates IRS-1 serine hyperphosphorylation and restores insulin-triggered Akt activation in differentiated 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Cyclocarioside H enhances insulin-independent and insulin-mediated 2-NBDG glucose uptake to improve adipocyte insulin resistance under inflammatory stress. Cyclocarioside H can be used for research on inflammation-associated type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance.

Cyclocarioside H (2-20 µM; 4 h) increases glucose consumption in a dose-dependent manner in 3T3-L1 cells[1].
Cyclocarioside H (10 µM; 30 min) reduces inflammatory insult-triggered Ikkβ phosphorylation and positively regulates AMPK activation in adipocytes[1].
Cyclocarioside H (10 µM; 30 min) abolishes the reduction in glucose uptake induced by Mac-CM in adipocytes[1].
Cyclocarioside H (10 µM; 30 min) estores insulin-mediated phosphorylation levels of IRS-1 tyrosine residues and Akt in adipocytes[1].
