MK-1966 is an anti-IL-10 antibody. MK-1966 inhibits secretion of cytokines from activated macrophages, production of CC and CXC chemokines, and a TH1 response, down-regulates MHC and costimulatory molecules on dendritic cells (DCs), and induces regulatory T cells. MK-1966 can be used for the research of cancer , such as gastric cancer.

MK-1966 strongly induces IFNγ production in human PBMCs when combined with the TLR9 agonist SD-101[1].
MK-1966 (10 μg/mL; 24 h) restores CD8+ T-cell proliferation and functional cytokine production that is suppressed by COL4A1-induced M2-like macrophages[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Flow Cytometry analysis of Hela cells labelling IL-10 (red) with MK-1966 (HY-P991257). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 90% methanol. Then cells were stained with the primary antibody at 1/200 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (AF488) (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).
