WC-27

WC-27 is a selective Wee1 inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 2.11 nM. WC-27 blocks Wee1-mediated inhibitory phosphorylation of CDK1 and disrupts the G2/M checkpoint. WC-27 induces S-phase cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, and inhibits cell migration and colony formation. WC-27 can be used for research on non-small cell lung cancer.

WC-27 (2.5 μM) inhibits phosphorylation of CDK1 at Tyr15 in NCI-H1299 cells^[1].
WC-27 (0.625-5.0 μM; 24 h) inhibits the migration of NCI-H1299 cells in a concentration-dependent manner^[1].
WC-27 (0.625-1.25 μM; 10 days) inhibits colony formation of NCI-H1299 cells in a concentration-dependent manner^[1].

WC-27 is a potent Wee1 inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 2.11 nM^[1] in the cell-free Wee1 enzymatic assay.
WC-27 potently inhibits Wee1 in a 100-kinase panel (97.22% inhibition at 500 nM), while showing weak inhibition of PLK1 and several cell cycle kinases^[1].
