Vasicine (10-100 μg/mL, 10 min) exhibits a moderate inhibitory activity against H+/K+-ATPase (IC₅₀=73.47 μg/mL), scavenges DPPH free radical (IC₅₀=71.97 μg/mL), reduces gastric acid secretion and exhibits anti-ulcer effect^[3].

Vasicine (2.5-10 mg/kg, po, once daily for 7 days) improves the cardiac function, inhibits myocardial cell apoptosis, and alleviates myocardial necrosis, edema, and inflammatory cell infiltration in Isoproterenol (HY-B0468)-induced rats myocardial infarction models^[2].

Increased the activities of SOD and glutathione peroxidase (GPx) in myocardial tissue, reduced the levels of MDA and MPO.
Increased the thickness of the left ventricular posterior wall and the left ventricular mass.
Inhibited myocardial cell apoptosis.

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 40% PEG300 5% Tween-80 45% Saline

Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (13.28 mM); Clear solution

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown).

Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 400 μL PEG300, and mix evenly; then add 50 μL Tween-80 and mix evenly; then add 450 μL Saline to adjust the volume to 1 mL.

Protocol 2

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 90% (20% SBE-β-CD in Saline)

Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (13.28 mM); Clear solution

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown).

Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 900 μL 20% SBE-β-CD in Saline, and mix evenly.

Protocol 3

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 90% Corn Oil

Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (13.28 mM); Clear solution

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown). If the continuous dosing period exceeds half a month, please choose this protocol carefully.
