Tefluthrin-d5
Tefluthrin-d5 is the deuterated-labeled Tefluthrin (HY-W040171). Tefluthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide with developmental toxicity. Tefluthrin modifies the Nav1.6 voltage-gated sodium channel, prolonging Nav1.6 channel inactivation and deactivation in HEK293 cells. Tefluthrin reduces L-type Ca2+ currents, inhibits K+ outward currents, and enhances spontaneous/oscillatory action currents. Tefluthrin induces oxidative stress in rat models, causing damage to blood, immune, and nucleic acid metabolism, chromosomal aberrations, and sperm malformations; it induces oxidative stress and p53‑caspase‑3 pathway apoptosis in zebrafish models, leading to cardiac-skeletal developmental malformations such as pericardial edema, spinal curvature, and decreased skeletal mineralization. Tefluthrin can be used for pest control and research on diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases.
