Antioxidant agent-22 

Antioxidant agent-22 is a paraben derivative tetracyclic spermine cyclotriphosphazene compound. Antioxidant agent-22 exhibits antioxidant, anti-Inflammatory, and apoptotic activities. Antioxidant agent-22 significantly upregulates CAT, SOD, caspase-3 and IL-6 expression, suppresses GSH, IL-1β, and reduces BCL-2 and BAX levels. Antioxidant agent-22 can be used for the research of cancer, such as lung cancer^[1].

Antioxidant agent-22 (Compound 5) (1.56-100 μM) exhibits cytotoxic activity against A549 human lung adenocarcinoma cells with an IC₅₀ of 12.650 μM and minimal toxicity in MRC-5 human lung fibroblast cells^[1].
Antioxidant agent-22 increases the expression of antioxidant (CAT, GSS, SOD), anti-inflammatory (IL-6), Caspase-3 and decreases apoptotic BCL-2 and BAX genes in A549 human lung adenocarcinoma cells^[1].
Antioxidant agent-22 exhibits antioxidant activity by reducing GSH levels, anti-inflammatory activity by reducing IL-1β levels, and pro-apoptotic activity by increasing Caspase-3 levels in A549 human lung adenocarcinoma cells^[1].
