CDKi free base
CDKi free base is a CDK inhibitor. CDKi free base induces morphological changes, DNA fragmentation, and cell death in vestibular schwannoma cells. CDKi free base downregulates pRb, EGF-R, PI3K, NF-κB, and Shh levels, while upregulating JNK, ASK1, Caspase 3, and p21, and induces PARP-1 cleavage. CDKi free base can be used in research related to vestibular schwannoma.

CDKi (0.5-5.0 nM; 24-72 h) free base induces morphological changes in primary human vestibular schwannoma tumor cell cultures, causing over 90% of the cells to aggregate together[1].
CDKi (0.5-5.0 nM; 24-72 h) free base induces extensive DNA fragmentation in primary human vestibular schwannoma tumor cell cultures, with a greater degree of fragmentation than other tested treatments[1].
CDKi (0.5-5.0 nM; 24-72 h) free base decreases total pRb and phosphorylated pRb levels in primary human vestibular schwannoma tumor cell cultures[1].
CDKi (0.5-5.0 nM; 24-72 h) free base modulates key cell survival and death-related proteins in primary human vestibular schwannoma tumor cell cultures, including eliminating EGF-R expression, decreasing PI3K, NF-kB, Shh, and S100A2 levels, and increasing JNK, ASK1, Caspase-3, and p21cip1/waf1 levels, while triggering PARP-1 cleavage[1].
